We sing shanties and Cornish songs partly because we love doing so, and also because we want to keep the traditions of shanties and Cornish community songs alive and thriving. At the same time, this gives us the opportunity to raise money for the RNLI and other local causes. As of April 2008, we have raised over £20,000 for the RNLI.

To this end, we can be hired for whatever occasion you like. For example, we have performed at weddings, celebrations, including of course, St Piran’s Day and Trafalgar Day, festivals, and other events.

We founded and run the annual Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival

We have this thing about pirates and have been known to dress up (the boys do have a penchant for frilly frocks!). We also enjoy the occasional beverage of the alcoholic variety, purely for vocal lubrication of course! Our parrot (stuffed, but don't tell him that) is called Keelhaul and often accompanies us to gigs. Keelhaul has been complaining recently that his voice is not being heard, so we hope to add a new page just for Keelhaul soon.
